We convince ourselves that our decisions reign supreme, that we are the ultimate authority over our lives. Yet, in the grand scheme of things, are we truly more powerful than God? Empty that All You Have...

Luke 21:3,4 "this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on." Today if we try to empty ourselves and submit to God, then God is surely going to recognize us as she did for this poor widow. Remember it is easy to give an offering (money, gift, sacrifice) but it is tough to give our heart. It could be with any relationship Mom, Dad, Spouse, Children, but no body needs your money but your love.  Then how do we dare to do that with God, who is looking for our love, and we still give him the money. Money cannot get us anywhere, if we are very sure about that then why do we hesitate to leave that Money and come behind God. We decide whom we are eager to serve. Understanding God's Love - Today's Verse

The law teaches us to love the Lord, our God with all our heart, body, mind and soul. But our heart has so many compartments, where we have accommodated people and things of our own choices into each one of  them. Imagine a family which has one kid and their parents pondering all their love onto this one kid. After a few years there is another baby born in this family. Now, the parents have started to give more  attention and love to the second kid more than the first one.
