Wilderness - An Opportunity to Know God - Today's Verse


A time of solitude defines us better and also teaches better things to us. When our life is encompassed with pain, suffering and loneliness we end up with questions of our existence on this earth. Suddenly, our mind starts to think about the person who brought us in to this world.

 We approach everybody for an answer. To our surprise we discover that each one gives a different answer according to their experience. It is like when we ask for suggestions to buy a car, bike or a dress our friends share their opinion about a best buy available. But how about the question of life and how serious are we about the journey we have taken.

 When we are left alone

 Yes, that is the time we actually come to know a lot of things. The moment when the world forsakes us, the family and our loved ones also forsake us, we scream out loud for help. When the whole hope for our life is shattered in to pieces, what shall we do? Why do we live? How do we live? For whom do we live? Imagine how hard it is to live in an empty space with no people around you. What will you do with no one near you? How far can we delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties? All these days our desires and the people around us were driving us for our living. May be Dancing, Singing, Drinking, Smoking, Partying, Joking, Gaming and Driving crazy could have been the way of our life till yesterday. For some, crying, mourning, sick, weak, debt and filled with pain could be the way of life. But when there is no one around us, just think of what would create the interest in us for a living.

 Even if we work with whom shall we share our joy? We are ready to give, but what happens if there is no one left there to receive it. These wildernesses come into our life in a wild manner teaching us the truth of life and remember, it is allowed by God. Till today there could be so many reasons for our living, but God wants to change and show that only He (Jesus) can be the sole reason for our living. 

 You did not come into this world by yourself

 We did not select the option of getting into this world. We did not select who our parents would be. We were never given an option but rather we are SENT by God. Only the one who has sent us knows the purpose of our being here and not anyone else can comprehend it better. Then how did we suddenly lean on to all the things and people around us as a reason for our being. Talk to Him, who has brought you into this world and render your lives into His hands. He has got a greater purpose for you in your life and the ones around you. Connect to Him in the wilderness... Speak to Him inside the closed room with an open heart. Believe in the one true Living God, Jesus. He gives you the reason and He is the reason. If today there is a wilderness in your life, this is the right time to talk to Jesus, surrender and get empowered yourselves with the love of Christ. Yes, God loves you and you are made special in His eyes. You are here for a special purpose. 

 I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 2 Cor 12:9

Road Life Principle – Part III

One way or the other, things get delayed in reaching us. Our complaint in life is that Nothing happens on time, especially when we are waiting for it. “Traffic Jam” is the key word. Everybody is waiting on the road, but for how long. We need to go to Home, Office, see friends, etc., we have so many other things to do. All of a sudden if my vehicle has to stop because of a traffic jam, I could not bear it. It could be an accident, somebody is trying to learn to ride a vehicle, an animal moving in the center of the road, etc. If it is my vehicle which has met the accident then the case is different. I don’t give it much of thought, but point to be understood is when we were in the accident and learning phase others too had to go through the tough time of waiting and getting delayed in their journey.
