'just as sin entered the world through one man' Romans 5:12
'disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners'
'obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous' Romans 5:19
Most of the times, we are used to put the blunder on the others and make them responsible for the situation. We also end up justifying an action saying that we did it for someone else's sake. Or even sometimes we declare that we did for our own sake. But when shall we acknowledge that for what sake we should be doing a thing?
How do we ever categorize our evey act and thought of ours? For the sake of what did we think or act in one way or the other? This would tell us who we are and for what sake we live on this earth. Though there could be thousand reasons saying, "I did this for the sake of....". Let us also try to validate that if its really worth it.
God, Jesus has appointed us here on this earth for a purpose. If we simply state that we did a thing for the sake of something, then we would be end up forsaking God, who has entrusted us and poured out his divine love on the cross.
For the sake of x Forsake
We watch out for open doors and great examples for our path. Well, everybody is looking for that and no one is able to find such one. If we don't step out and be that example of the righteous one of God, withstanding the perverse ways of the World, then the World will never get to find a chance of finding the real Light, Jesus. This day let us take our every thought seriously and analyze for what sake we do that and does it really bring Glory to God, instead of simply doing things without any thought and forsaking God. "You" are that "One" person, whom God is looking out for.
It starts with just that one and not a mulititude. Only when the drops come together, it can makes an ocean. But the source is a single drop. We are the one...... Each 'One' of us.... held responsible for the body of Christ. May be no one is accompanying you in this journey, never mind, since Christ is already their to shoulder you and walk by your side. Let us give our lives and prove that we are the one and through us the Kingdom on Heaven be established. Fight, Race, Enmity, Jealousy, Angry, Pride, Lust, Laziness, Possession, Evil Desires, be it any thing, give it up for the sake of Christ and be the one who God wants us to be. Amen
