Every action and thought of ours is held responsible for making the Big Picture of "You". Our choices which we make, creates the difference in our journey, character, career and life. We choose, who we want to be in this journey of life.
Each new day reveals the more of real "You". Each day comes with lots of choices packed in it. The way we are going to deal with it, decides who we are. We may say "No" or "Yes" to some and compromise with a few and sometimes never even realize that the way we spend this minute is also a part of the choice which we have made. We are held responsible for every given minute and for every single choice we make.
I am held responsible for all my actions and thoughts from silly, simple to complex ones.
You may say, "Bad choices, I don't care". Some shout and say "I am Bad... I am Bad". What if your son, daughter, father or mom says "I am Bad"? What if all the people in the colony of yours say they are Bad? Will you still decide to reside there?
When we are alone and we know for sure that nobody is going to watch, and there is only darkness around us, then our thoughts will clearly define who we are. When we have pocket full of money we behave one way and when there is no money we behave the other, again it is the choice which we have made. When there are people around us we act different and when there is no one around us we reveal ourselves differently.
We are gauged by our choices which we make, because those are the ones which define who we are. Everybody is watching you, for the differences which you are going to make. Each one around us is trying to grasp something or the other from you without your knowledge, mostly the younger generation. Are we going to say that "we are not responsible for it", or say - "we never knew how it happened" or simply accept that - "I don't bother about others" and declare - "I would like to live my life the way I want it to be".
Again, "You choose to be responsible for it?", "What have I chosen?" and "Who am I?"
"You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world.” Mathew 5:13, 14
You are chosen to be as the witnesses of the Most Holy One. You are created in His Image and You are His dwelling place. Hence, remember that you are called to be as perfect examples in Christ, whom the world can refer to for corrections. If we be a bad example and lack witness in Christ, remember the Bible, Church and Jesus is all misunderstood because of our carelessness and irresponsibility.
